Interpretation center of the stream- La Farga del Roquer

The Farga de el Roquer is the Center of Interpretation of the Riera d'Arbúcies. When we enter, the visit takes us to the past and allows us to observe the importance of the uses of water throughout history in the Vall d'Arbúcies.

This ancient aram forge, built between 1846 and 1848, was in operation until 1873. Later on, other industries were installed and took advantage of water rights, such as a tannery, a sawmill and, finally, a bodywork. Currently, the turbine of 1934 is still in full operation, thanks to the the water supply of the raft, which drives the old system of paddocks.
