Point 5: Pou de Ca l'Escultor

The Ca l'Escultor Well is one of the heritage elements linked to the agricultural and domestic uses of water that we find along the route. In this case, in addition, the structure of the well offers us an extraordinary vantage point, with a good panorama of the town and spectacular views of Montseny. From this point we can cross the stream through the Red Bridge, a footbridge built in 1808 and from where we can see the orchards, the lock and the water that brings the water there. If you look closely, you will see the laundry room used by the Arbucienkas to wash their clothes when there were no washing machines in the houses. Further on, you can see the Chapel of Piety, a building erected after the old chapel, from the 17th century, was destroyed during the Civil War.
